Over 34 years ago, Tommy Nadeau started selling handcrafted furniture out of a small garage in Santa Monica, California. What began as a side hustle turned into a lifelong passion for sourcing beautiful, affordable, and one-of-a-kind pieces from around the world. Tommy believed great furniture didn’t have to be mass-produced or overpriced—it just had to be made with heart.
Today, Nadeau has grown into a nationwide brand with stores across the U.S., still guided by Tom’s original vision: "Furniture with a Soul." Our stores are filled with solid wood furniture, globally inspired designs, and ever-changing collections that make every visit feel like a treasure hunt.
With Nadeau Online, we’re bringing a new layer to the experience. While our physical stores showcase one-of-a-kind finds you can take home right away, our online shop offers a curated selection of cozy, comfortable, and hard-to-ship pieces—like sofas, upholstered seating, and home accessories—delivered right to your door.
We continue to source with intention, partner with makers who share our values, and stay rooted in the idea that your home should reflect who you are—not what’s trending.

ORDERS & SHIPPING
How long does shipping take?
Most orders ship within 3–7 business days. Delivery times can vary based on your location and the item ordered. You’ll receive tracking info once your order ships.
Do you offer expedited shipping or white glove delivery?
At this time, we offer standard delivery to your doorstep. For larger or heavier items, we recommend having help on hand to move or assemble them, as in-room setup is not currently available.
Can I place an order for in-store pickup?
Currently, online orders are shipped only and not available for in-store pickup.

What is Nadeau Online?
Nadeau Online is an extension of our in-store shopping experience, offering a curated selection of home furnishings and décor you won’t typically find in stores. We focus on cozy accents, upholstered seating, sofas, and more—making it easier to shop for bigger or specialty pieces from the comfort of your home.
Why do the online products look different from what I see in-store?
Great eye! Our in-store collections feature handcrafted, one-of-a-kind solid wood furniture sourced from around the world. The online collection is curated with a different focus—items like sofas, accent chairs, and home accessories that we don’t usually carry in-store due to space or logistics. Think of it as two sides of the same Nadeau personality: one tactile and ever-changing in person, and one cozy and curated online.
Where do the online products come from?
Online items are sourced from a network of trusted partners and vendors who align with our values of quality and charm. These products typically ship from U.S.-based warehouses and fulfillment centers. While they differ in origin from our in-store items, they are carefully selected to complement the Nadeau aesthetic.
RETURNS, DAMAGES & CANCELLATIONS
What’s your return policy?
All online sales are final. Because our inventory is limited and curated, we don’t accept returns or exchanges unless your item arrives damaged.
What should I do if my order arrives damaged?
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at customerservice@furniturewithasoul.com . Be sure to include your order number and photos of the damage and packaging so we can assist you quickly.
Can I cancel my order after it’s placed?
Orders are processed quickly, so cancellations aren’t guaranteed. If you need help, email us as soon as possible and we’ll do our best.

Are the online items made of solid wood like the ones in-store?
Many online pieces are made from wood, but not all are solid wood. Online items include upholstered and mixed-material pieces to broaden our offering. Check the product descriptions for materials and details.
Will my item look exactly like the photo?
While we try to represent items as accurately as possible, natural variations in texture, wood grain, or fabric color may occur. That’s part of the charm of real materials and handcrafted elements.
